Most wish lists are a graveyard. You add the thing, you feel briefly organised, and six months later it's still sitting there at exactly the same price it was — a list of wishes, not a list you're making progress on.
WIT gives each item a progress bar, and fills it with the only thing that actually buys anything: your work. Tell it what an hour of your time is worth after tax, and every item on the list stops being a price and becomes a distance — one you close by working, and can watch closing.
Tap plus, and either type a name and a price, or paste the link from the shop. WIT fetches the product page directly from the retailer, reads the name and price out of it, and fills the form in. It works on pages that publish their price in the standard tags most shops use — and when one doesn't, you just type it.
Each item gets a category so the list stays readable at a glance: 💻 electronics, 👟 shoes, ✈️ travel, 🏠 home, 🎟️ fun, 🕶️ style, or ✨ other.
At the top of the home screen is the figure that makes the list feel real: the total time you owe yourself. It's every unearned hour across every item, added up and kept current — so adding one more thing to the list doesn't quietly disappear into the pile, it visibly moves the number.
All of it is included for free. None of it sits behind the paywall.
Start the timer when you begin work and stop it when you're done — or switch on auto-track and let WIT run it during the work hours and days you configured, subtracting an unpaid break so a credited day matches the hours you're actually paid for.
When an item reaches 100%, the app stops and tells you exactly how many hours went into it, then offers two buttons: mark it bought, or keep it on the list. Either answer is a good one — it's just nice to be asked at the top of the hill rather than the bottom.
There's no account, no sign-up and no server. What you want, what you earn and how long you've worked for it are stored on your iPhone and nowhere else. No analytics, no advertising, no third-party SDKs — and the only network request the app can make is fetching a product page you asked it to read.
A notes list holds names and prices. WIT holds progress. Every item shows what percentage of it you've already earned, how many hours of work are left, and the whole list adds up into a single running total. It's the difference between a list of wishes and a list you're actually getting through.
Tap the plus button and enter a name, a price and a category — electronics, shoes, travel, home, fun, style or other. Or paste the product's web link and WIT fetches that page from the shop and reads the name and price out of it for you. The request goes to the retailer, never to us.
Yes. There are small and medium home-screen widgets, all three lock-screen widget sizes, and a Live Activity with full Dynamic Island support while a timer is running. They show the current item and how far along it is, and they follow whichever accent colour you've picked. All of it is free.
