It re-prices things in hours of your work instead of money. You tell it what an hour of your work is worth after tax, and every item you add to your wish list is shown as the number of hours you'd have to work to buy it — alongside the price.
You can then run a timer while you work and watch an item earn itself, one percent at a time.
Setup asks for it on the last step, and you can change it any time in Settings → Hourly rate. The figure WIT wants is your take-home rate — what actually reaches you per hour worked.
Yes. On the pay step you can enter an hourly, monthly or yearly figure and WIT converts it using the work hours and days you set.
If what you entered is gross, leave "This is my take-home pay" off and use the tax slider to estimate what you keep. If it's already after tax, switch that toggle on and the slider disappears. The estimate is rough by design — it's there to get you a realistic hourly number, not to do your taxes.
It keeps auto-tracking honest. Set how long your daily break is and whether it's paid. If it's unpaid, WIT subtracts it from the end of your working day — so an 08:00–16:00 day with a 30-minute unpaid lunch stops crediting you at 15:30, no matter when you actually took the break. A paid break isn't subtracted.
Yes. Set 22:00 to 06:00 and WIT treats it as one eight-hour shift belonging to the day it starts on — the hours after midnight still count, and auto-tracking keeps running across midnight.
Pick whichever days you actually work; nothing assumes Monday to Friday, or a day that ends before midnight.
Instead of tapping start and stop yourself, WIT runs the timer for you during the work hours and work days you set, and stops it at the end of your paid day. Turn it on in Settings → Work Schedule → Auto-track. It always tracks toward the most recently added item on your list that isn't finished yet.
No. WIT records when you started and works out the elapsed time whenever you come back, so time accrues whether the app is open, backgrounded, or closed. The Live Activity and the widgets are there so you can see the progress without opening it at all.
Yes — paste the product's web link when you add an item and WIT will fetch that page from the shop and read the name and price out of it. It works on pages that publish their price in the standard tags most shops use.
If a page doesn't, or the price looks wrong, just type it in yourself — and always double-check against the shop, since listed prices can exclude tax or delivery.
Small and medium widgets for the home screen, all three lock-screen sizes (circular, rectangular and inline), and a Live Activity with full Dynamic Island support while a timer is running. They show the current item and how much of it you've earned, and they follow whichever accent colour you've chosen.
All of it is free — none of it is behind Premium.
Live Activities can be switched off per-app in iOS Settings — check Settings → Apps → WIT and make sure they're allowed. A Live Activity also only appears while a work timer is actually running; if no item is being tracked, there's nothing to show. Everything else in the app works normally either way.
No. WIT is iPhone-only, and your data stays on the device you entered it on — there's no iCloud sync and no account. That's also why nothing about your pay or your wish list ever reaches us. If you set up a new phone, you'll set WIT up again.
None. WIT has no servers, no accounts and no analytics, and it contains no third-party SDKs. Your wage, work schedule and wish list live on your device and nowhere else. The only network request the app can make is fetching a product page you pasted a link to, and that goes straight to the shop. See the privacy policy for the full detail.
Just Live Activities. WIT doesn't use the camera, photos, location, contacts, calendar, health or motion data, and it doesn't ask to track you across other apps — there's nothing it would do with any of it.

No. Premium comes as a one-time Lifetime purchase ($49.99) as well as yearly ($19.99, with a 7-day free trial) and monthly ($2.99) subscriptions — pick whichever you prefer. Those are US prices; the app shows your own currency at Apple's equivalent regional price before you buy anything.
Cancel in iOS Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions; cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep Premium until the current period ends.
To bring a purchase back on a reinstalled app or a new phone, open the Premium screen and tap Restore Purchases. Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us.
Yes, almost entirely. Adding items, the timer, auto-tracking, widgets and the Live Activity all work with no connection at all. The only things that need the internet are reading a price from a link you paste, and buying or restoring Premium.
Open any item and delete it from there. To remove everything, delete the WIT app — all of its data is stored on your device, so it all goes with it. There are no server-side copies to ask us to remove.
If you just want to redo setup, Settings → Reset onboarding takes you back to the start.
