Agreement
By downloading or using Rocktopus ("the app"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the app.
Rocktopus is distributed through the Apple App Store, so Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. Where these terms and Apple's standard EULA disagree, Apple's EULA governs.
Licence
You are granted a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use Rocktopus on Apple devices that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service. You may not sell, redistribute, rent, sublicense or reverse-engineer the app.
Purchases
- Remove Ads is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase. It is not a subscription and does not renew.
- It removes all advertising from the app and unlocks all eight octopus colours.
- Payment is taken by Apple through your Apple Account. Prices are shown in the app before you confirm and vary by region.
- The purchase is tied to your Apple Account and can be restored on any device you sign in to, using Options › Restore Purchases.
- Refunds are handled entirely by Apple, not by us. Requests go through reportaproblem.apple.com.
Advertising
Unless you have bought Remove Ads, the app is supported by advertising served by Google AdMob. Ads shown are not endorsements by us of the products advertised. How advertising data is handled, and the controls you have over it, are described in the Privacy Policy.
Online play
Playing against another person uses Apple's Game Center and requires a Game Center account and an internet connection. Availability of online play depends on Apple's services, which we do not control. Please behave decently towards other players; we may not be able to intervene in individual matches.
Your data
Your progress is stored on your device. Deleting the app deletes it, and it cannot be recovered afterwards — there is no cloud backup of game progress. Purchases can always be restored, since Apple holds the record of them.
Availability and changes
The app is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Features may be added, changed or removed in future versions. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device or iOS version.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, muddermis is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under the law that applies to you, and you may have statutory consumer rights that these terms do not affect.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated. The current version is always the one on this page, with the "last updated" date above. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
