Rocktopus

Rock paper scissors with seven more hands than you are used to, painted like an old Japanese woodblock print.

What Rocktopus is

Rocktopus is rock paper scissors played eight rounds at a time. You load each of your octopus's eight tentacles with a throw — rock, paper or scissors — and then the two octopuses clash, one round at a time, until all eight are done. Win more rounds than your opponent and the match is yours. Win all eight and it is a perfect victory.

It is a small game and it is meant to stay that way: a match takes about a minute, there is no account to make, and single player works with no connection at all.

Getting help

The FAQ covers the questions that come up most often — how the opponents differ, how to unlock the other octopuses, what the one-time purchase includes, and how to restore it on a new device.

If your question is not answered there, email muddermister@gmail.com. It is one person reading, so please include your device model and iOS version if something is going wrong.

Restoring a purchase

If you bought Remove Ads and it has not carried across to a new device, open Options in the game and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple Account you bought it with — purchases are tied to the account, not the device.

Reporting a problem

Bug reports are genuinely welcome. The most useful ones say what you did, what happened, and what you expected instead. Screenshots help. Send them to muddermister@gmail.com.
