Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using WRKR, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to your use of the app; where these Terms and that agreement differ, the agreement governs.
License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use WRKR on Apple devices that you own or control, in accordance with the App Store terms. You may use WRKR for your own business or personal record-keeping.
Price and WRKR Pro
WRKR is free to download and free to use, with up to 2 active worksites and 3 crew members. Logging hours, reports and the email/CSV export are included in the free version.
WRKR Pro is a single one-time in-app purchase at $9.99 that removes the worksite and crew limits. It is not a subscription: you pay once, nothing renews, and there is nothing to cancel. The price is in US dollars and may differ in your local storefront.
Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase and is processed by Apple through the App Store, subject to Apple's terms. WRKR Pro is tied to the Apple Account that bought it. If you reinstall the app or move to a new device, open Settings inside WRKR and tap Restore Purchases while signed in with the same Apple Account; there is nothing to pay again. Refunds are handled by Apple under its App Store refund policy, not by us.
Your Content
- Your worksites, crew, logged hours, rates and notes belong to you and are stored on your device. WRKR does not sync or upload them.
- WRKR does not claim any ownership of anything you record or any report you export.
- You are responsible for the data you enter about other people, such as crew members' names and pay rates, and for who you send reports to.
Not Accounting, Payroll or Legal Advice
WRKR adds up the hours and rates you enter and presents the result. It is a record-keeping tool, not accounting, payroll, tax or legal advice, and it does not know your local rules on working time, overtime, holiday pay or invoicing. Check the figures before you invoice a client or pay anyone based on them. Any rate is a snapshot taken when an entry was logged; a rate changed later applies only to entries logged after the change.
User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Use the app only for lawful purposes.
- Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the app.
- Not use the app in any way that could damage, disable, or impair it.
- Keep your own records and backups of anything you cannot afford to lose.
Data Loss Disclaimer
WRKR stores everything locally and does not sync or back it up to any service of ours. Deleting the app, using "Erase everything" in Settings, resetting the device, or a device failure will remove your worksites, crew and logged hours. Device backups made through iCloud or a computer are handled by Apple and are outside our control. Reports you have already emailed are your copies. We are not responsible for lost data.
Disclaimer of Warranties
WRKR is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, that every calculation will suit your circumstances, or that an email export will be delivered — delivery depends on your Mail app, your email provider and your connection.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of, or inability to use, WRKR — including lost data, incorrect invoices or payments made on the basis of the app's figures, or reports that were not delivered.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Denmark, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
