Sterkt

A training notebook that looks like a paper log. Every exercise gets a small, hand-penned stick-figure animation showing correct form. Coming soon to the App Store.

About Sterkt

Most workout apps assume you already know what good form looks like and just want somewhere to log the sets. Sterkt does not assume that. Every exercise in the library comes with a small, hand-penned stick-figure animation walking through the movement — so before you load the bar, you have actually watched something do it correctly, not just read a caption telling you to. It is built to feel like a training notebook: a bit worn-in, entirely yours, and honest about what can go wrong if you get careless.

a library, hand-drawn

Sixty-plus free-weight and machine exercises, each with its own short stick-figure animation showing the movement from setup to lockout. Every entry also carries a safety warning — the specific way that exercise gets people hurt, and the mistake that causes it — right there next to the form check, not buried in a disclaimer nobody reads.

routines split across training days

Build a routine and Sterkt splits it across your training days for you — push, pull and legs, an upper/lower split, or whatever shape suits how often you actually show up. Each day is its own page in the notebook: the exercises, the sets and reps, and the form check for each one, ready before you leave the house.

gym-floor session mode

Open a session and Sterkt turns into something you can actually use standing at a rack with chalk on your hands: big tap targets, a rest timer that starts itself between sets, and the form animation one tap away if you second-guess your setup on set three. Log weight and reps as you go — the notebook fills itself in.

reminders

Sterkt can nudge you on training days so a routine does not quietly stop happening. Reminders are ordinary local notifications, scheduled and delivered entirely on your phone.

coach's notes

Short, plain-language notes on eating and recovery sit alongside the training log — not a diet plan, just the kind of thing a sensible coach mentions in passing: protein, sleep, and why a rest day is part of the program rather than a day off from it.

nothing leaves your phone

No account. No analytics. No trackers. Every routine, every logged workout and every preference lives on your device and nowhere else.
