By downloading, installing, or using Savoured, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use.
License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Savoured for personal, non-commercial purposes.
Price
Savoured is free to download and use. There are no in-app purchases, subscriptions, or ads.
User Content
- Recipes you save in Savoured (titles, ingredients, steps, notes, categories, photos, source URLs) belong to you and are stored on your device and in your private iCloud account.
- You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to save and store any content you import — particularly when saving recipes from third-party websites for personal use.
- Savoured does not claim any ownership of your recipes or photos.
Safari Extension
- The Savoured Safari extension reads webpage content only when you actively activate it to save a recipe.
- You may grant the extension permission to read all websites or limit it to specific sites in iOS Settings → Safari → Extensions → Savoured Extension.
- You agree to use the extension only on websites you have a legitimate reason to access.
Third-Party Websites
- When you import a recipe by URL, Savoured fetches the page directly from the publisher's website. We do not host, mirror, or modify their content beyond extracting the recipe text.
- Source URLs are stored with every recipe so you can always go back to the original.
- Savoured is not affiliated with the recipe publishers it can import from, and is not responsible for the accuracy, safety, or legality of their content.
User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Use the app only for lawful purposes.
- Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the app.
- Not use the app in any way that could damage, disable, or impair it.
- Respect the rights of recipe publishers — Savoured is intended for personal recipe organisation, not for republishing or commercial use.
Food Safety Disclaimer
Savoured stores and displays recipes for your personal use. Recipes imported from third-party websites have not been verified or tested by us. You are responsible for:
- Verifying that ingredients and steps are accurate before cooking.
- Checking for allergens, dietary restrictions, and food-safety guidance relevant to you.
- Following safe food-handling and cooking practices regardless of what a recipe says.
Disclaimer
Savoured is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee specific results, the availability of third-party websites or services, or that every recipe page will parse successfully.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to inaccurate recipes, missed ingredients, third-party website outages, or data loss.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Denmark.
