No. All your scan history is stored locally on your device only. Nothing is uploaded to any server. If you delete the app, your scan history is permanently removed.
Yes! When QR SCNR detects a URL, an "Open" button appears so you can jump straight to Safari. You can also copy the link or share it with other apps.
No. Scanning is unlimited and free — there is no daily cap and no subscription. The old five-scans-a-day limit was removed in version 1.2.0.
QR SCNR Pro is a single $0.99 purchase — no subscription, no recurring charges — and unlocks batch scanning, CSV export of your scan history, Wi-Fi and business card QR codes, and removes all ads. Everything else, including unlimited scanning and creating link and text QR codes, is free.
If you bought Remove Ads, you already have Pro — it's the same purchase, and the new features are yours at no extra cost. Tap Restore Purchases in Settings if anything looks missing.
Batch scanning keeps the camera running so you can go from code to code without tapping in between — useful for stocktakes, event check-ins and parcel runs. Duplicates are skipped automatically. Save the whole run to your history or export it as a CSV. Free users can capture 5 codes per run to try it; Pro removes the limit.
Yes. Link and plain text QR codes are free for everyone. Wi-Fi codes (guests join your network with one scan) and business card codes (a vCard with your name, number and email) are part of QR SCNR Pro. Any code you make can be shared or saved as an image.
Yes, with Pro. Open History and tap Export CSV to get a spreadsheet that opens in Numbers, Excel or Sheets. If you have a type filter or a search active, the export contains exactly what you're looking at.
Only when you ask it to, and only for what you pick. Scanning uses the camera in real time and nothing is recorded. To scan from a photo you choose one image in the system picker — the app never browses your library. Saving a scanned contact opens Apple's own contact sheet; your address book is never read.
Yes. Open the History view and tap "Clear All" to delete all saved scans. You can also swipe individual items to remove them one at a time.
