Colores ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.
Information We Collect
Photos & Camera
- Colores accesses your camera and photo library only when you choose to take or select a photo.
- All image processing happens entirely on your device using on-device machine learning.
- Your photos are never uploaded to any server — they never leave your device.
Subscription Data
- Subscription purchases are processed through Apple's App Store.
- We do not collect or store any payment information.
- A local counter tracks the number of free conversions used on the free tier.
How We Use Your Information
- Photos: Used solely to generate coloring pages on your device. Photos are processed in memory and are not stored by the app.
- Conversion counter: Used to track free-tier usage limits locally on your device.
Data Storage
- Colores does not store your photos or coloring pages. Generated pages exist only while the app is open or when you explicitly save or export them.
- A small amount of preference data (paper size, art style) is stored locally using UserDefaults.
- We do not operate servers that store your personal data.

Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Control photo access — You can revoke camera and photo library permissions at any time in your device's Settings.
- Delete local data — Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored preferences and usage data.
- Manage subscriptions — You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID settings.
Data Deletion
To delete all data associated with Colores:
- Uninstall the app from your device
- This removes all local preferences and the free-tier conversion counter
Since Colores does not store your photos or upload any data to servers, no further action is needed.
Data Controller & Legal Rights (EU/UK/California)
The data controller for the limited data Colores handles is muddermis, contactable at muddermister@gmail.com. Our lawful basis for processing is your consent (when you choose to convert a photo or subscribe) and our legitimate interest in operating the app.
If you are in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, Switzerland, California, or another region with comparable laws, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Object to or restrict processing
- Data portability where applicable
- Withdraw any consent you have given
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (for EU residents, the Danish Data Protection Agency — Datatilsynet — at datatilsynet.dk)
Because Colores stores all data on your own device and does not upload photos to our servers, you can exercise most of these rights directly by deleting items in the app or deleting the app entirely. For any other request, email us at muddermister@gmail.com.
Children's Privacy
Colores is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where local law requires, such as under GDPR in parts of the EU) without verified parental consent. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children covered by these age limits.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
