Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Catch a Bit, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use.
License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Catch a Bit for personal, non-commercial entertainment.
Purchases
- Catch a Bit is free to download and play in full. It offers one optional one-time in-app purchase, the "Starter Bundle", which grants a head-start package of in-game coins, a rod, and bait.
- The Starter Bundle is not required to play or to complete the game.
- All purchases are processed through Apple's App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
- Because the Starter Bundle is a one-time purchase, there is no auto-renewal, no subscription period, and nothing to cancel.
- If you reinstall Catch a Bit or switch to a new device signed in to the same Apple ID, you can restore your purchase at any time by tapping "Restore Purchase" in the Tackle Shop.
- Refunds are handled by Apple according to Apple's refund policy. We do not process refunds directly.
Virtual Items
- Coins, fish, rods, bait, and any other in-game items have no real-world monetary value, cannot be exchanged for cash or anything outside the app, and are not transferable between accounts or players.
- Game balance, prices, drop rates, and content may change over time as we tune or update the game.
- In-game progress is stored locally on your device and may be lost if the app is deleted, as Catch a Bit does not sync to the cloud.
User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Use the app only for lawful purposes.
- Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the app.
- Not attempt to tamper with purchases, save data, or game balance.
- Not use the app in any way that could damage, disable, or impair it.
Disclaimer
Catch a Bit is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee specific results, uninterrupted availability, or that the app will be free of errors.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to loss of in-game progress or purchased content.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Denmark.
